The Story Behind the Life Management Instructions Kit™

It all started with a simple realization...

When Sue Schwer (aka Aunt Sue)—a seasoned financial systems strategist—lost her twin brother unexpectedly, the emotional shock was compounded by the logistical chaos that followed. Despite decades spent designing systems to help others grow and protect their wealth, Sue realized that even her own family wouldn’t know where to begin if something happened to
her.

She often joked that preparing for the unexpected meant having a plan for “getting hit by a bus,” but the loss of her brother made the need for clear instructions deeply personal. It forced a question she could no longer ignore: Who would know what to do if I couldn’t speak for myself?

Determined to leave her loved ones with clarity rather than confusion, Sue created a comprehensive set of instructions to guide her niece, Lillian Krohn, through managing her affairs. When she shared the documents with her family, their response was immediate and unanimous: “You should sell this.”

And so, the Life Management Instructions Kit™ was born—a practical, compassionate tool designed to ensure no one is left guessing during life’s most difficult moments.

A Lifetime of Financial Expertise Comes Full Circle

Sue had spent over 25 years designing wealth accumulation and management systems for some of the world's most prestigious financial institutions. She had helped others build their legacies, but now, she was focusing on protecting those legacies in times of uncertainty. The Life Management Instructions Kit became a bridge between these two worlds— equipping families with the same precision, structure, and foresight she had used in high-stakes financial planning.

Building a Movement

With Lillian Krohn at the helm of marketing, the Life Management Instructions Kit™ was set up for broad impact. As a communications and marketing executive, Lillian leads major campaigns for top brands, making her the perfect partner to bring this mission to life. In addition to her marketing expertise, she dedicates much of her time to the New York Junior League where she currently serves on the management council as the City Impact Council Head.

Protecting What Matters - Passing It Forward

Together, Sue and Lillian transformed a family necessity into a public resource, helping people prepare for the unpredictable while ensuring their assets and wishes are handled with confidence.

It’s easier than you think—and more important than you realize.

You will be helping the people who will one day help you.
